Why orders can't be linked to projects from a file

«Load orders» and the «Order» column of a project import always say the order isn't found. Link each order from the project page instead.

People with the «Projects» permission in edit mode.

You can't link orders to projects with a file today: every order number comes back as not found.

What you'll see

  • In «Projects» → «⋯» → «Load orders», every row shows «Pedido "…" no encontrado en la base de datos», in Spanish, and «Load N orders» stays disabled.
  • In «Projects» → «⋯» → «Import», the same message on every row with the «Order» column filled in.

Why it happens

This happens with any order number, even a correct one: the check that looks orders up by number doesn't answer. It isn't something in your file.

How to fix it

Link each order from the project instead:

  1. Open the project Open the Landmark Venues wedding project.
  2. Add the order Click «Add order to project» → «Link existing order».
  3. Choose the order Pick the wedding order and confirm.

See Add an order to a project. To link many orders at once, the public API and NEO can do it too. If you were importing projects, empty the «Order» column and import them again.

Good to know

  • «Load orders» is designed for one order per , and for orders that have no project. From the project page, a project can have several orders.
  • Linking an order doesn't change its dates or the project's.

Still stuck?

If «Link existing order» doesn't show the order you need, contact support with the project and order numbers.
