Create a workflow from a template
«Start with a template» copies a ready-made workflow as a draft; review its steps and click «Publish and activate» to put it to work.
Anyone can browse the templates. Creating a workflow from one needs an account administrator.
Workflows isn't open in Filmo yet: the sidebar shows it as coming soon and its pages can't be opened. This article describes how it works once it's available in your account.
Filmo prepares ready-made workflows for common jobs, such as sending validated credit notes to Xero or asking NEO on demand. A brings the and all the already in place: you check them and switch the workflow on.
Create the workflow from a template
- Open «Workflows» and click «New workflow»
- Choose «Start with a template» Browse «Featured», search with «Search templates» or open a category such as «Orders and logistics» or «Billing and collections».
- Pick the template Filmo creates your copy and opens it in the editor.
- Review every step Check recipients, channels and filters. Steps with an empty required field are marked in red.
- Click «Publish and activate» The workflow goes and starts when its trigger happens.
What you get:
- An independent copy, in «Draft»: it has no and doesn't start until you publish and activate it.
- Later changes to the template don't reach your copy, and your changes don't touch the template.
- Email and calendar steps are tied to your provider (Gmail, Outlook or iCloud) when all your are from the same one. Otherwise they're tied when you choose the first account in the editor.

Other ways to do it
From an integration's Workflows tab
In «Settings» → «Integrations», open an integration that has workflow steps, such as Xero, and go to its «Workflows» tab. It lists the integration's templates and the workflows of your account that already use them. For accounting apps, see Accounting templates and the order to install them.
If you see an error
