Stop renting an item without deleting it
Items can't be archived. Hide one from the order search, the booking website or the Campus app, or deactivate its units, and keep its history.
People with the «Inventory» permission in edit mode. With view mode you can open items but not change them.
Equipment gets old, goes out of fashion or stays on a shelf for the season. You want it out of the way, but you don't want to lose what it did: the orders it went on, its history, what it earned. Deleting it would lose that.
Items in Filmo have no archived status: an item exists or it's deleted. To stop renting one without deleting it, hide it where it would get picked, or take its units out of service.
Choose what you need

Hide an item from the order search or booking website
Say you've replaced your old small tents with the large frame tents. Let's keep the old ones off new orders.
- Open the item In «Inventory» → «Items», click the old tent.
- Edit its information On the «Summary» tab, click «Edit» on «General information».
- Hide it Turn off «Show in the order search» and save.
The item and all its no longer appear when someone searches for equipment inside an order. It keeps its stock, its page and its history, and you can turn the switch back on at any time.
«Show on the booking website» works the same way for your website, if you have the website builder: turned off, the item disappears from the website's lists and search.
Warning: An item hidden from the booking website can still be reached with a direct link to it, and it can still be booked. Don't share or keep old links to it.
Take one unit out of service
To stop renting one specific tent while the others keep working, turn off «Active» on that 's page. Filmo checks first that it isn't out on a job or booked on a future order. See Deactivate a serial number.
Note: There's no way on screen to mark a unit as broken or archived. To take a unit out of service, use the «Active» switch.
Hide it from the Campus app
On Campus accounts, choose «Not shown in app». See Item visibility in the Campus app.
