The projects list and project page
Find any project, read its figures and see where each task lives: the list's filters and columns, and the tabs of the project page.
Anyone with the «Projects» permission. In view mode you can open projects but not change them.
Everything about a project is in two places: the projects list, to find it, and the project page, to work on it. This page shows what's where and links to the article for each task.
The projects list
Open «Projects» in the sidebar, below «Orders». The pills at the top filter by status: «All», «Draft», «Quoted», «Confirmed», «In progress», «Completed», «Invoiced» and «Canceled». Next to the search box, the filters narrow the list by «Custom fields», «Tags», , «Dates», «Client», «Assignees» and «Archived».
- The columns show the «Name», the «Project type», the «Client», the «Status», the dates, the «Price» and what's «Invoiced».
- «Price» adds up the total, taxes included, of the project's orders that aren't canceled. A small badge next to it sums up what's been paid, invoices and included, and what's still pending.
- «Invoiced» shows a receipt icon when the project has invoices. Hover it to see how many are paid, pending or in draft, and the total of the validated ones, from its orders and from the project itself. Voided invoices don't count, and credit notes aren't subtracted.
- At the top, «Create project», and the «⋯» menu with «Import», «Export», «Update dates», «Update contacts» and «Load orders». The menu needs edit mode.
Warning: While you search the list by text, «Price» shows 0 and «Invoiced» is empty. Clear the search to see the real figures.
The project page
The header shows the project's name, number and status. On the right, «Add order to project» and the «⋯» menu, with «Archive project», «Run workflow» (administrators only) and, in Campus accounts, and «Open chat».
