Fix “Restricted access”
Restricted access means your role has no View permission on that module; a padlock means the account doesn't have the module.
Anyone. The fix needs an administrator of the account: the , or «Administrator» roles.
You open part of Filmo and, instead of the screen you expected, you see «Restricted access».
What you'll see
- «Restricted access» with “You do not have to access this section.” instead of a module's screen.
- Sidebar entries with a padlock.
- Fewer cards in «Settings» than your colleagues have, or “Only account administrators can change this setting.” when you open one through a link.
Why it happens
- This can happen if your role has no «View» on that module. Each module needs its own.
- This can happen if the entry has a padlock: your account doesn't subscribe to that paid module. It depends on the account, not on your role, so administrators see the padlock too.
- This can happen if the setting is reserved for administrators.
- This can happen if you're in a different account from the one you meant. Check the at the top of the sidebar.
How to fix it
- Check the active account It's at the top of the sidebar. If it's the wrong one, switch accounts.
- Ask an administrator for the permission They open «Edit permissions» on your row and tick «View», or «Edit», for that module. See Change a member's role.
- For a padlock, ask about the module Whoever manages your subscription adds the module to the plan. See Your subscription.
