Modules and add-ons
What each paid module and add-on unlocks, who can use a module and what you see on a module you don't have.
The account's owner, administrators and super administrators, and anyone with the additional role «Billing admin». Other members can open the page, but Filmo refuses any purchase or change they confirm.
Not every rental business uses Filmo the same way. One that subrents a lot needs purchase orders; one with a big sales team wants a CRM; one that scans every chair in and out wants QR labels. That's why the extras are sold one by one.
A paid module is one of those extras, and together with users, units and packs they're the of your subscription. For the Landmark Venues wedding, subrenting the third large tent needs the «Purchasing module»: without it, the purchase options on the order are greyed out with a «Module» badge.

Modules are charged per user, at the same frequency as your plan: you can't mix monthly and annual modules. A piece with no price set for your account doesn't appear. Prices are on Filmo pricing.
Who can use a module
A paid module works when one of these is true:
- The account is in its 14-day trial.
- The account has the module active.
- The account is trying the module and its hasn't ended.
- The account is connected to a main account in an organization that has it active or in trial.
Menus, pages, fields, the public API and NEO all follow the same rule. A uses only the modules in its contract.
What a module you don't have looks like
Its page shows what the module does and the buttons to try or activate it, if you manage billing. Everyone else sees «To activate this module, please ask your billing administrator.». A custom account sees «Talk to Sales». See Try or activate a module.
Good to know
- The isn't a module: every account has it. See How the client portal works.
- Analytics isn't a module either, but its conversation and reports use AI credits.
- If you lose a module, some data you created with it can still be read, such as the purchase documents of an order.
