Update your payment method
Change the card Filmo charges in the Stripe portal, opened with Manage billing, and find and download the invoices Filmo sends you.
The account's owner, administrators and super administrators, and anyone with the additional role «Billing admin». Other members can open the page, but Filmo refuses any purchase or change they confirm.
Only from the account that pays, and once the account has paid Filmo at least once.
Your company card expires, or you want Filmo charged to another one. Filmo doesn't keep your card itself: it's in the , a page run by Stripe, Filmo's payment provider, where you manage how you pay Filmo.
Change your card
- Open the payment method In «Plan & billing», find the «Payment method» card, with your card and its expiry date.
- Open the Stripe portal Click «Manage billing». The portal opens in a new tab.
- Add the new card Add the card and make it the default.
- Go back to Filmo Leave the portal: it takes you back to «Plan & billing».
Stripe uses the new card for the next charge. If a charge had failed and is now paid, Filmo clears the notice on its own; see Fix a failed subscription payment.
What else you can do in the Stripe portal
- See and download every charge Filmo has made.
- Update your billing details.
- Cancel the subscription.
What the portal offers depends on how Filmo has set it up with Stripe.
Find and download your Filmo invoices
These are the bills Filmo sends you for your subscription, not the invoices you issue to your clients.
- In «Plan & billing», «Invoices» lists the ten most recent, with a month filter. Click «View invoice» to open one.
- The full history is in the Stripe portal, through «Manage billing».
- They use the billing information you entered when you subscribed.
Good to know
- This isn't the where your clients see their documents, nor the Stripe you use to collect from them; for that, see Connect Stripe to collect online payments.
- If the portal can't be opened, no message appears. Check that you manage billing and try again.
- An account that has never paid, or is billed manually, doesn't see «Manage billing».
