Create an analytics dashboard
In «Filmo AI» → «Analytics», click «Create dashboard», pick a template or describe the charts, and send: your first message saves it.
Anyone in the account who sees «Analytics» in the sidebar can create a dashboard. Only its owner or an administrator can change, archive or delete it.
The account needs Analytics' AI features turned on and AI credits available.
The fixed panels show what Filmo decided to show. When you want your own view, such as revenue by month, the items rented most and the invoices still open for the whole wedding season, you build an .
You don't drag fields or write formulas. You tell the what you want to see, in plain words, and it explores your data, writes the query, picks the and places it. Each chart keeps its query, so it recalculates whenever the period changes.
Before you start
Everyone in the account can open it
A dashboard created from the app is always a . There's no setting to make it private. Each person who opens it sees only the charts their permissions allow; see Who sees analytics dashboards and their data.
Create the “Landmark Venues season” dashboard
- Open Analytics In the sidebar, open «Filmo AI» → «Analytics».
- Start a dashboard Click «Create dashboard». A blank dashboard opens with the assistant asking "What do you want to visualize?".
- Say what you want Pick a template, or type your own request: “Revenue by month this season, the 10 items rented most and the invoices still open”.
- Send it Press Enter. Sending the first message saves the dashboard.
- Let the assistant build it For three or more charts it proposes a plan, which starts running on its own. See Add and change charts with the analytics assistant.
- Name it Click the name in the header and type “Landmark Venues season”.
Your dashboard is ready. A few things happened along the way:
- You're its : with administrators, the only person who can change it.
- The AI proposed a name from your first message. If it couldn't, the dashboard is called "Dashboard sin título" (Filmo shows this name in Spanish) until you rename it.
- It appears in the «Dashboards» tab with the «Live» status.
- Its period starts on «Last 12 months». Changing it changes it for everyone; see Change a dashboard's date range.
Templates
Under «Create dashboard», a template builds a complete dashboard on one subject: «Invoicing», «Financial summary», «Operations and orders», «Inventory», «Purchasing and suppliers» or «Clients». «Or a single chart» offers ready-made requests for one chart.
The «AI Costs» template is offered only to people who can see the account's AI usage: the account owner, a «Super administrator», Filmo support or someone with the «AI Admin» additional role. An «Administrator» without «AI Admin» doesn't see it.
What happens next
Now you can adjust the charts, freeze the figures in a , deliver them as a or put the dashboard on an office screen:
- Change a chart's type, size and colors
- Save a dashboard snapshot
- Generate a NEO report as a PDF
- Show dashboards on a screen with groups

The «Dashboards» tab of «Analytics» lists every dashboard you can open, with the «Name», «Groups», «Charts», «Owner» and «Updated» columns. Search by name, filter by «Status» («Active», «Archived» or «All») and use the «Owner» filter to see the dashboards a given person created.
