Save a dashboard snapshot

Use «⋯» → «Save Interactive Snapshot» to freeze a dashboard's charts and data for its current period, in a copy nobody can change.

Saving a : the or an administrator. Opening it: whoever could see the dashboard when it was saved.

A dashboard's figures keep changing: every time it opens, its charts are recalculated. At the end of the wedding season you want to keep the figures of “Landmark Venues season” as they are today, for the partners' meeting, without them moving next week.

A does that: it freezes the dashboard's charts and their data for its current period, and nobody can change it afterwards.

Save the snapshot

  1. Check the period On the dashboard, make sure the period in the header is the one you want to keep.
  2. Open the menu Click «⋯» and choose «Save Interactive Snapshot».
  3. Wait "Saving snapshot…" shows while Filmo works.
  4. Find it Open the «Snapshots» tab of «Analytics».

Your snapshot is saved. A few things happened along the way:

  • Filmo ran each chart's query again with the dashboard's current period and your permissions. It doesn't copy what was on your screen.
  • If a chart failed, it was saved without data and the rest carried on.
  • Each frozen chart keeps at most 5,000 rows.
  • The «Snapshots» tab lists it with the dashboard's name, the range (for example "Mar 1 – May 23, 2026") and the date you saved it.

Open and share a snapshot

Open it from the «Snapshots» tab. It shows the notice "Frozen data · range … · captured on …" and doesn't accept changes. Click «Copy link» to send it to a colleague.

The link icon copies the snapshot's link.
  • Whoever could see the dashboard when you saved it can open the snapshot.
  • A reader whose permissions don't cover a chart's data today sees in its place. are always visible.
  • The snapshot outlives its dashboard: deleting the dashboard doesn't delete it.
