Projects
- Orders and operations
Group the orders of a production, tour or event into a project and follow the work and its finances together.
A production can have several deliveries, crews and rental periods while still being one job for the client. Projects give that work a shared place, so you can follow individual orders and understand the overall result without treating them as unrelated jobs.
Keep the orders connected
Link to this section: Keep the orders connectedCreate orders inside the project or link existing ones. The project brings together its orders, documents, contacts, tasks, files and incidents. Each order can belong to one project, while keeping its own equipment, dates and delivery process.
For example: one tour, three stops
Link to this section: For example: one tour, three stopsImagine a tour with separate orders for three venues. Each stop has its own delivery and return, but all three sit in the tour’s project. Your team can review the job together and prepare a quote or invoice covering the orders you select.
Read the finances in context
Link to this section: Read the finances in contextThe project has no price of its own: its figures come from its orders and documents created directly for it. Compare forecast amounts with actual invoicing in the same layer. Project dates and status stay independent of order dates and statuses, so changing the project does not reschedule its orders.
Use it today

Follow Create a project and Add an order to a project. Before issuing a document, use Create documents for a project to choose the orders it should cover.
Read Project profitability before relying on the total: access needs the profitability add-on, and the guide explains reconciliation limits when there are credit notes or several confirmed quote versions.
