Web builder and online booking

  • Client portal and website

Present your business online and receive equipment requests as draft orders in Filmo.

Start the website from a theme and fill its pages with blocks, text and images. The booking portal is a separate part of the same site: it uses your Filmo items, prices and taxes. Each part has its own publication status and address, so you can start with the one you need.

A client chooses 120 chairs, dates and contact details in the catalog. The request reaches Orders with its lines and calculated prices already filled in. It remains a draft: your team checks the client, quantities and dates, then reserves the equipment. Sending the request does not hold stock.

Use a Filmo subdomain or connect your own domain. The website and catalog need the Web builder add-on. On an already published page, saving edits makes them live; a new page needs another publication with Update. Plan changes around when you can check the result.

The guides and recordings below describe Filmo today. Screens and available options may have changed since this update.

Prepare the product list and checkout with Set up your online booking catalog, then follow Receive and reserve web orders to review a request. For known clients, consider a private catalog. In a public catalog, hide the tax ID field to prevent visitors from looking up existing clients' details; making it optional does not remove that lookup.

For the company website, Build your website distinguishes manually written showcase blocks from the live catalog. The current Contact form block does not deliver messages: use visible contact details or the supported chat instead. The guide also explains which edits publish immediately.
