Warehouses, aisles, shelves and levels tell the team where to find the material, even if you never rent out a room.

Keep the room's schedule and the equipment's location clear.

The room belongs with the rest of the job.

Add a studio or event room as a line on the order, with its own dates and rental price. Book it on its own or alongside lighting, sound and furniture. A draft leaves the space free; reserving the order occupies the whole space.

See bookings in the space's calendar or compare several spaces on a timeline. Preparation time counts before and after each reservation, so setup and reset are part of availability when you check the next job's dates.

Make a closure part of the schedule.

Block dates for painting, building work or a closure, even when there is no rental order. Set a one-off period or preview and publish a weekly series. If existing bookings are affected, Filmo flags them for you to review; you decide what to change.

Organize a warehouse into aisles, shelves and levels. Assign a location when you add or move stock, then read it on the item's page. The team preparing a dry hire pickup or loading an event can see where the equipment is stored.

A few details about spaces

Can I use warehouse locations without renting out rooms?

Yes. Use spaces to record where equipment is stored. Enable warehouse locations to organize aisles, shelves and levels, then assign your stock from the item's page. You do not need to offer a room for rental.

Can I book part of a room or use capacity to manage bookings?

A space is always booked as a whole. It cannot be split between orders at the same time. Capacity and dimensions describe the space; they do not manage seats, attendance or how much equipment fits.

Does a draft order hold the space?

No. The space is occupied from the point the order is reserved, for the line's dates plus preparation time before and after. A returned space still needs to be checked in to release the reservation.
