Send invoices to Xero and Holded

A documented route from Filmo to your accounting, subject to the integration and workflows being available in your account.

The documented integration covers approved invoices, credit notes, supplier invoices, contacts and payments, with payments recorded in Xero coming back to Filmo. For an event invoice, the aim is to give accounting the same document and total without entering it twice. Availability is being rolled out; a Coming soon label means you cannot use that part yet.

An administrator connects Xero and selects its organization, or connects Holded using an API token. Connecting alone sends nothing. The transfers depend on accounting templates installed as workflows, configured and published when those features are available. Each template handles a specific task, such as sending an approved invoice.

The documented Xero flow sends approved documents, not drafts, and summarizes invoice lines by tax. Quotes, proformas and simplified invoices are outside that flow. Documents with withholding tax need manual accounting entry. Review workflow results to establish what was sent; a connected account is not proof of synchronization.

The guides and recordings below describe Filmo today. Screens and available options may have changed since this update.

Check the integration card and its Workflows tab first. If either says Coming soon, use How the Xero integration works to prepare your account and tax mappings, without assuming that sending is enabled. The current Workflows guide also marks general workflow access as coming soon.

Where available, follow Accounting templates and the order to install them: configure document sending before payment flows, then check the runs. For Holded, use Connect Holded with an API token and review its different tax and notification requirements. The two providers do not support identical operations.
