Golden Globes 2025: The Winners and Audience Favorites

Discover the movies and series that took the Golden Globes 2025 by storm, with titles like Wicked, Dune: Part 2, and Emilia Pérez standing out among the favorites of both audiences and critics.

Have you ever wondered which movies are making waves this awards season? With the 2025 Golden Globes just held, expectations are higher than ever. This year has brought surprises, with titles that are already winning over both audiences and critics alike. Discover the key nominations and the movies that have won awards.

The Audience's Favorite Movies

Among the standout productions, Wicked is on everyone's lips. The adaptation of the famous musical has been praised for its stunning artistic direction and spectacular visual effects, including the innovative work on the flying monkey movements.

Additionally, movies like Dune: Part 2 are also emerging as strong contenders, excelling in technical categories such as Best Sound and Best Cinematography.

The Golden Globes Gala

The 82nd Edition of the Golden Globes took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The gala was hosted by Nikki Glaser, comedian and actress, known for the show Blind Date, among others.

Among the winners, Demi Moore stood out, winning Best Actress for “The Substance,” competing against actresses like Cynthia Erivo in Wicked or Zendaya in Challengers. Demi Moore shocked the audience with her speech:

“Thirty years ago, a producer told me I was a ‘popcorn actress,’ and at that moment, I interpreted that as meaning that this [award] was not something I was allowed to have. That I could make successful movies that earned a lot of money, but I couldn’t be recognized, and I believed it and accepted it.”

“Emilia Pérez” takes home four awards that highlight her as one of the audience favorites, with lead actress Zoe Saldaña as supporting actress. Jeremy White Allen wins for the third consecutive time with the series “The Bear,” and other works that stand out include “Shōgun” and “The Brutalist.”
